How am I different from other real estate agents?

My experience with real estate began at an early age. I was fortunate enough to have a father who was an investor in real estate and from my childhood I was involved with assisting my father with his rentals. Eventually as my parents got older, I assumed management of all of their properties until the time of their passing. Currently I am also the owner of Encompass Properties managing single-family detached since 2006.
Being a real estate investor myself, I know what is important to my clients when choosing a home and have even branched out to international investments in Latin American countries that are in my own portfolio.

Prior to coming to Keller Williams, I partnered with the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority, a quasi-government agency, for 14 years where we promoted housing initiatives to New Mexican's across the entire state. There, we assisted first-time homeowners getting into their first homes, oversight of multi-family asset management for HUD, multi-family development and support for all housing programs for the state of New Mexico. Assets managed exceeded $2.5 billion during my partnership with them.

I am a native of New Mexico from the northern part of the state. My wife of nearly 27 years and my adult children enjoy any outdoor activities and time together. Then, we have our other little kids (pets), a rescued Chihuahua, an adopted Yorkie and our 12 year old Pomer-Doodle (Pomeranian Toy Poodle cross). Each of them have ADDD (attention deficit dog disorders) that we enjoy caring for and being surrounded by.
