Dates and Deadlines
Dates and deadlines are critical to a contract not terminating. They are in a contract for a reason and that is for everyone to know the date by in which they need to perform. Any lapse of a deadline date that has not been agreed upon in writing by both the Buyer and Seller to extend creates a legal out for the Buyer or the Seller.
However, a signature provided past the deadline date by one party or the other can “resurrect” the contract to a valid status if this is acceptable to the other party.
