Feedback on Showings

When I set up your listing with my showing service, I always set it up for you to be emailed any feedback from an Agent. One thing to consider is that when I am notified of feedback, you will be notified at the same time. Often times, I will get calls or texts from Sellers wanting to know if I have heard anything from the showing for that day. If you haven’t heard, then neither have I.

A couple of things to keep in mind about feedback.  Not all agents will provide it. The showing service will make three attempts requesting feedback.  After the third attempt, it is safe to assume that the Agent is just not going to provide it.  Another thing to keep in mind is that the Agent may be out all day or even a couple of days and he or she is not going to provide feedback after each showing. They will provide it all at once when they have completed showing homes to the Buyers.

Another very common thing I have found with feedback that is if an Agent has been showing homes on a weekend, you will probably not see any feedback until Monday. The reason for this is because it is a weekend and once they have finished showing homes on a weekend, they are most likely spending the remainder of the time with family and will wait until Monday or Tuesday to respond to feedback requests.  It’s easy as a Seller to feel like it’s only one home but they may have many homes they have shown all requesting feedback.
